Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise, coral Sterling silver Snake belt buckle, unmarked but most likely Navajo or Zuni. The snake around the stones resemble the work of Effie Calavaza, one of the most famous Zuni artists. This outstanding buckle showcases 4 vibrant natural turquoise stones (green and blue) and 2 corals, all set in serrated bezels. The single silver snake wraps around two of the stones, in a figure 8 shape. The stones are natural, and have very deep inclusions; these aren't cracks.
The face of the buckle is adorned by raised leaves and silver drops, and framed by a thick and nicely filed silver border. This outstanding buckle weighs approximately 82.5 grams, and it's. By 1 1/4 in height.
The swivel keeper measures 1 5/8 on the inside. The size 36 belt is stamped BIANCHI, and it's a bit worn, but still in great shape. The buckle is in excellent condition.
